Volunteer with Paw Placement of Northern Arizona

"The heart of a volunteer is not measured in size, but by the depth of commitment to make a difference in the lives of others." - DeAnne Hollis

Volunteering is a rewarding experience and no commitment is too small. Now more than ever, homeless animals need our assistance. The economy is affecting everyone . . . four-footed and two. If you are over 18 years old and would like to volunteer with us, animal rescue is a fun and rewarding cause to assist. Youth between ages 13 and 17 are welcome with a parent. Please see below for Paw Placement of Northern Arizona's VOLUNTEER ROLES.

Care for a cat or dog in your home. Paw Placement of Northern Arizona covers all expenses.

As a foster parent, you become a homeless animal's true guardian angel. A displaced animal is scared and confused. What the animal needs is a stable home setting to feel secure. Foster parents are provided with food, bedding, and pet toys. Responsibilities may include vet runs if needed, being available at own convenience for adoption appointments, and arranging to bring the pet to Resce Me! at the Flagstaff Mall or other adoption sites. Fill out our Foster Home Application.

Rescue Me! Pet Adoption Center at Flagstaff Mall

Fri 1-6, Sat 11-6, Sun 12-4

As an Adoption Representative, you will speak with the general public about the animals in our care. Based on what potential adopters are looking for in an animal-companion, you will help them make the best adoptive match possible.

This role is fun because you interact with many pet-loving people, you hear stories about the animals in their lives and you experience the joy, first-hand, of placing a homeless animal into the loving arms of his or her new human parents.

Friday-Sunday shifts available at Rescue Me! Pet Adoption Center and other adoption events.

Our Rescue Me! Adoption Center at the Flagstaff Mall is a great place for our cats and dogs to greet potential adopters. It is a happy, cheerful place to volunteer. Dog and Cat Chaperoning is rewarding because you get to spend a few hours with a rescue dog who will wag his tail non-stop and kitties who just want a little attention.

FUND RAISING AND ADMINISTRATION Grant-writing, public-relations, event planning. We need help with it all!!!

Please join the Paw Placement family - your involvement matters!! To volunteer please fill out our  Volunteer Application.
